Render Studio's quality score, explained

Every output gets scored excellent, good, review or retry — with a short note on why, and an option to auto-retry a weak result.

Generative renders are inconsistent by nature — the same prompt against the same geometry can produce one excellent result and one that's clearly off. Rather than leaving you to eyeball every output, Render Studio scores each generation and badges it excellent, good, review or retry, with a short findings note explaining what drove the score (geometry fidelity against the source plan, material/lighting coherence, and general image quality signals).

A "review" or "retry" badge doesn't mean the render is unusable — sometimes it's fine for a quick internal check — but it's a signal worth reading before you send something to a client. You can turn on auto-retry so a weak result automatically regenerates once with a corrective prompt, which resolves a meaningful share of low scores without you having to notice and re-trigger it manually.

The scoring runs on every generation mode — full renders, region edits, auto-furnish and upscale passes alike — so the signal stays consistent regardless of which workflow produced the image.
