P&L, cash-flow forecast and AR aging build automatically from your invoices, time and expenses — no month-end spreadsheet reconstruction.
Studio Manager's Finance tab isn't a separate bookkeeping product bolted onto the design tools — it's built from the same records you're already creating elsewhere in Studio Manager. A profit & loss chart, cash-flow forecast and accounts-receivable aging report all build automatically from paid invoices, logged time entries and recorded expenses, rather than requiring a manual month-end reconstruction in a spreadsheet.
Financial goals let you set a target — revenue or margin — for a period and track actual progress against it as invoices get paid and time gets logged. When it's time to hand numbers to an accountant, a one-click "accountant handoff" exports a CSV tax summary: revenue, expenses by category, and the full invoice list for a given year, ready to import rather than re-typed from scratch.
It's deliberately scoped to what a small studio needs to see its own financial picture clearly — not full double-entry bookkeeping or tax filing. Think of it as the layer that tells you whether a project was actually profitable, sitting right next to the design work that produced it.
